Professional Association, which aims to act as a verification agency for those whose professional skills need to be certified.
Some disciplines and professions such as Counseling and Coaching are not yet regulated in some countries and this condition deprives of a professional order because said countries have not enacted the minimum requirements for their exercise; contrary to other regulated professions (doctors, engineers, psychologists, et cetera). Organization systems of professions provide the recognising system.
The recognising system is a process of systematic and continuous assessment exercised through external agencies or other organizations to verify the professional’s pre-determined requirements which can influence the quality of the services given by the professional. AEAPro was born in 2012 as a Professional Association, which aims to act as a verification agency for those whose professional skills need to be certified through the Certificate of Professional Competence® or PCC AEAPro. Due to the nature of its accreditation model, the rules on the accreditation (minimum requirements, temporal validity of the certificate, etc.) are quite resilient to respond immediately in the birth of new professions or the evolution of those already existing. In the section ‘Certifications’ both levels of accreditation and areas of intervention concerning counselling and coaching, brief therapies and specializations are defined.
Throughout these years AEAPro has strengthened its closeness to Coaching, Counseling and Brief Therapy professionals, as well as to Discipline and Specialization Training Centres, dealing with the requirements as to certifications, public documentations and stamping official certificate, which is the Apostille, in all its procedures.
